II. Application

Application procedure

Nominees of Partner University should fill out the application form and send all required materials by the deadline by the coordinator of International office.

Required documents for application

1. Two copies of application forms, and each with a recent photograph

2. Two copies of complete transcripts (these documents must be translated into Chinese or English)

3. Two letters of recommendation

4. Two copies of study plan in Chinese or English

5. Proof of financial sufficiency (proof of sufficient funds for studying in Taiwan)

Insurance

According to Taiwan National Health Insurance Act, if you are from other countries, you will need to get a short-term insurance before arriving in Taiwan. 

Students who stay in Taiwan for more than 180 days should apply for Alien Resident Certificate(ARC). Four months after receivingthe ARC, the students are required to join in National Health Insurance and pay about NT$749.00 per month for the insurance.
